A nice variety of the ever popular phlox subulata, Goldphlox Rose features the usual evergreen slightly wiry foliage with sharply narrow leaves in dark green tinged silver. The masses of small, simple, five petalled flowers appear in spring and early summer, and are a bright rose pink. Phlox will grow in most soils, as long as they are moist but well drained, and are invaluable in rockeries, pots, gravel gardens, troughs, and even scrambilg over and down old stone walls. Goldphlox Rose grows c 15cm high by 30 to 50cm across.
