DESCRIPTION
Sweet fragrant white, trumpet-shaped flowers which bloom throughout the summer. This tall growing variety is ideal for the rear of borders or centre of island beds. Height 150cm.
WHEN TO SOW
February to March
WHERE TO SOW
Sow onto the surface of pots or trays of moist seed compost and cover with a fine spinkling of vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place and keep at a temperature of between 18-23°C (65-75°F). After sowing do not exclude light as this helps germination..
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When large enough to handle, transplant seedlings into 7.5cm (3") pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost, at 45-60cm (18-24") apart in a sunny border.
MATURITY
June to September
HANDY TIP
Plant at back of border as fairly tall growing, or near to windows for scent.
