DESCRIPTION
EXCLUSIVE TO KINGS.
For a dazzling display of pastel shades, many bi-coloured, this Mesembryanthemum produces a carpet of open flowers in full sun. Height 5-8cm (2-3")
WHEN TO SOW
February to April
WHERE TO SOW
Sow seed on the surface of lightly firmed, moist seed compost in ports or trays and cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or warm place and keep at a temperature of between 18-20°C (65-68°F). After sowing, do not exclude light as this helps germination.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When seedlings are large enough to handle, prick off into trays 5cm (2") apart. Gradually harden off before planting in the flowering site 20cm (8") apart, from the end of May.
FLOWERS
June to September
HEIGHT
5-8cm (2-3")
HANDY TIP
