Probably the single most popular bedding variety. A profusion of deep blue flowers on dark, almost bronze foliage.

WHERE TO SOW
Sow seed on the surface of slightly firmed, moist seed compost in pots or trays. Do not cover the seed. Place ina propagator or a warm place and keep at a temperature of between 20-25°C (68-77°F). After sowing do not exclude light as this helps germination which usually takes 10-21 days.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
When seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into pots or trays. Gradually acclimatise plants to cooler conditions for a few weeks before planting out after all risk of frost has passed, 23-30cm (9-12") apart or plant into baskets and containers filled with a good quality potting compost.

Used widely to alternate with white Alyssum but for a change try alternating with the light blue of Cambridge Blue.
