A 'cut and come again' lettuce, producing large heads of bright green serrated leaves of excellent flavour. Slow to bolt. Sow under glass from February onwards.
WHERE TO SOW
Indoors - Early sowings under glass at 13°C in either trays or modules. Thin as they grow to 5cm apart or to single seedlings to a cell. Harden off quickly before planting out 30cm apart each way.
Outdoors - Later sowings should be made direct into the growing site in drills 2cm deep, 30cm between rows. Thin out as they grow, to 30cm eventual spacing. Sow at fortnightly intervals to ensure a continuous supply.
