Pale, peachy pink buds gradually open to form neatly cupped, cream rosettes. each bloom has aperfect ring of waxy petals enclosing numerous smaller petals. Eventually the petals turn back to form a large, domed flower with a light, musky fragrance. A repeat flowerer making a large, almost thornless shrub almost a metre and a half high and wide, it will work in all soil types and aspects, as long as it gets at least partial sunlight. A good rose for shady areas, as well as full sunlight, it will enhance any bed, grow well in a large pot and makes a great decorative low hedge. Extremely versatile. Introduced in 2009.
English shrub roses require less pruning and maintenance than many traditional roses, having a naturally shrubby growth, which just needs older and wek stems cutting out or reducing once a year.
