Buddleja 'Blue Chip' is a compact variety of Butterfly Bush, as they are commonly termed. Growing to only 60cm x 70cm approx it makes the perfect patio buddleja, with it's pale grey green leaves and honey scented panicles of clear blue lavender flowers in summer. A deciduous shrub, which can be cut back to near ground level each spring, if needing to be renovated or controlled. The term butterfly bush comes from the abundance of butterflies which these plants attract as they come into flower.
