Pamina is one of the prettiest of all the anemones, in many people's eyes. Standing in tall, wiry clumps to around 75cm, it's pretty pink flowers, each circa 5cm across, in late summer and early autumn each have a golden central ring of stamens, surrounded by multiple pastel pink petals, which seem to go well with many other colours. preferring a deep and fertile moist but well drained soil in sun or partial shade, anemones dislike disturbance, but can spread rapidly when happy. Large clumps can be split and replanted in autumn or early spring, but remember they spread by suckering underground, so be sure to dig out all the roots on any runners. Holds an RHS Award of Garden Merit.
