Sedum spurium 'Tricolor' is a mat-forming, creeping perennial growing to 10cm tall and spreading up to 50cm. Its small, variegated, fleshy leaves are green in the centre and edged with white and pink. Tiny, star-shaped light pink flowers, much loved by pollinators, appear in clusters in the summer. Like most sedums needs well drained soil in a bright and sunny spot to do best, but great in pots, alpine beds, and tucked into crevices in walls, paths or patios.
