A tuberous perennial with variable green or patterned leaves. Delicate pink flowers with deep maroon at the base of each petal, produced before the leaves. Self-seeds freely. Max Height 8cm to 12cm. Max Spread 15cm. Flowers January to March. Partial shade. Hardy. Water thoroughly before planting.
