Grown for its handsome, bright greenish yellow stems in winter this dogwood has dark green leaves which colour in autumn and clusters of small white flowers followed by blue tinged white fruit. Reaches a height of between 2 and 2.5m by a spread of 1.5m to 2.5m. Tends to sucker, so remove these for extra plants, or just to restrict the width. Great as part of a planting scheme with other coloured stemmed dogwoods. Cut back hard in early spring to get the brightest coloured new growth.
