Panicum 'Sangria' is a lovely, compact, clump forming ornamental grass. Elegant and airy, it features flat and linear mid green leaves which develop rich, dark red tips, and gradually turn shades of orange and yellow in late summer and autumn. Sprays of tiny dark red and green flowers are produced from mid summer to autumn, giving any garden a really flowing sense of movement. Grow in full sun in any type of well drained soil, Panicum 'Sangria' is hardy in all parts of the UK, as long as the soil it sits in is well drained, and will reach circa 100cm high and up to 50cm wide.
