Only the produce is allowed in our café, orders of the chef. Our naked Christmas cakes are made in small batches here in our café kitchen and meet our head chef, Jimmies, stringent requirements.
Lay of the Land is a small family owned garden centre, nursery & café in Settle, North Yorkshire. The café is run by Jimmie Lay, who trained as a chef at Michelin starred Northcote Manor. Jimmie works hard with his small team to serve an ever evolving menu of delicious & unusual food, complimented with his own homemade sauces, pickles and cakes.
