Powder blue and pewter rosettes of evergreen foliage make this an extremely useful plant for a dry position as it is highly drought tolerant. In summer sprays of tiny yellow flowers, much loved by bees and other pollinators adorn the tops. Popularly known as stonecrop sedum is also useful as part of a pot arrangement, on rockeries, filling cracks in a patio, and as part of a green roof. Growing only 10cm high it can spread as far as 60 cm wide. Looks stunning on a bright but cold winters day! Hardy but may be wise to give protection in exposed sites in the coldest of winters.
